In acute emergencies (danger to your own life or the lives of others), please call the police (110) or the emergency services (112). Alternatively, go immediately to the emergency room of the nearest hospital with a psychiatric department (in Mülheim an der Ruhr, only the Marien-Hospital has a psychiatric department)

The medical emergency service (116 117) will help you outside of consultation hours with illnesses that you would otherwise go to the doctor’s office with and whose treatment cannot wait until the next day. This is not suitable for life-threatening cases!
